My Art

Personal projects are my stress relief; my sense of reclaimed autonomy, and the loss thereof. Where the importance of architecture and space intertwine the human sense of first, second, and third places, the tactile senses of fabricating art draw a deeper connection with the space around us.

I find that tactile activities reaffirm our perception of what is true and time in the material plane. As we age, as things age, we desperately make use of our surroundings to ground us in the present. I find interest in those constraints between past and present, as each has an interconnected story to tell and not be forgotten.
