About Jason Mankie Leung

Jason Mankie Leung is a first-generation Chinese American, born in San Francisco and resides in California.

​

Earning his BA in Sociology: Organizational Studies and minoring in Sustainability in Built Environment, with an emphasis on architecture and urban planning at the University of California - Davis, he is pursuing his Masters in Architecture and Urban Planning in the near future.

Jason is an experienced architectural illustrator who has worked with James McCalligan Architect for 5 years, since 2017. He is deeply fascinated with the relationship between human's innate bond with spaces and architecture since childhood. He invites people to observe and draw their surrounding urban environments through self-hosted urban sketching events, with the intention to imprint people's senses into the present spaces they inhabit.
